Water Quality Analysis
All waterbodies suffer from water quality issues at some point.
We provide a water quality analysis service where we come and test the water to check that the levels of dissolved oxygen, nitrate, nitrite, PH, ammonia, phosphate, carbonate hardness, general hardness, magnesium, and calcium and temperature are all within the correct parameters. We use the best equipment and record it on a database for future reference and accurate records.
By analysing samples and taking a note of any chemical imbalances we can obtain an accurate chemical composition of the water and provide an insight into how to treat the problem before it occurs.
Our services also include the supply and application of calcium carbonate which contributes positively towards water quality. The calcium carbonate helps to reduce silt build up by neutralising the decomposition of organic material build up on the lakebed, which in turn, improves the water quality and aids dissolved oxygen within the water column. We use a ratio of 1000kg per acre but can be raised to 2000kg per acre in severe cases.
Whether the venue has blanket weed issues, struggles in nitrate and ammonia levels, fish becoming ill or dying, we can help, advise and implement control measures to protect the valuable stock in your lake.
